Welcome to my website. My name is Carolyn Berry. I have over 40 years in recovery from alcoholism. Have a bachelor’s degree in Human Services and a master’s degree in Marriage, Family Therapy. It has been my privilege to have guided hundreds of people, primarily those affected by addiction, through their life challenges and onto paths of self- discovery and growth for nearly 40 years of my life. Prior to and in conjunction with operating a thriving psychotherapy private, I held challenging and rewarding positions in the private and public sector of mental health and addiction treatment. During those years, I learned a good deal from a diverse population of people and how to help them get through their barriers and to reach their chosen destinations. All this experience has given me a rich background for guiding my coaching clients today. Coaching is an effective process for anyone knowing what they want and willing to take some direction to get there. I love coaching!
It has been an honor to lead American Indian Medicine Wheel Ceremony for over 20 years, as well as, officiating weddings, funerals, house blessings and other rituals. This year I published my first book, From Misery to Happiness which is based on my journey from her alcoholism and despair to intrinsic authentic happiness. I have dedicated most of my adult life to helping others. It is what I love to do. Being of service is my life purpose. I think this is true for many folks recovery from the effects of addictions. Being of service has served me well. My intention is and has been to continuously commit to serve equal as well. It is one of my greatest joys to serve all that come my way effectively, generously and authentically.
